    Hey everyone,

I’m still getting familiar with different installation practices, so I was curious what other people usually check before starting a fire alarm installation.

I’d imagine there are quite a few things worth confirming beforehand, such as the site layout, available power, device locations, wiring paths, and making sure the equipment being used is suitable for the job.

I also think having everything planned out before starting can save a lot of time later, especially when working on a larger installation.

For those with more experience, what do you normally check first before beginning an installation? Are there any simple things that newer installers often overlook?
