Hi all, I’m having some issues with my Vesda VPS-220-E5 system. It’s not detecting any smoke despite being properly installed and maintained. Any ideas on what could be causing this issue and how I can troubleshoot it?

Hey there, sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing with your Vesda VPS-220-E5 system. First, let’s check if the airflow is obstructed or if there are any leaks in the air sampling pipe network. Make sure all connections are tight and there are no blockages. Additionally, verify if the air filters are clean and not clogged, as this can affect smoke detection. If everything seems fine with the airflow, then it might be worth checking the system’s sensitivity settings to ensure they are appropriately configured for your environment. If the issue persists, it could indicate a faulty detector or control panel, in which case it’s best to contact a certified technician for further assistance.
