I just received my Vesda ECO-SC-43-Ex replacement cartridge for detecting Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) in Class 1 Division 2 areas. Can anyone provide some guidance on how to properly install it?

Certainly! To install the Vesda ECO-SC-43-Ex replacement cartridge, follow these steps:

Preparation: Ensure the system is powered off and isolated from any power source.

Access the Unit: Open the enclosure or access panel where the existing cartridge is located. If necessary, refer to the manufacturer’s manual for guidance on accessing the cartridge.

Remove the Old Cartridge: Carefully remove the old cartridge by following the instructions provided in the manual. Take note of any seals or gaskets that need to be replaced.

Install the New Cartridge: Slide the new Vesda ECO-SC-43-Ex cartridge into the designated slot, ensuring it is properly aligned and securely in place.

Sealing: If required, replace any seals or gaskets according to the manufacturer’s recommendations to ensure a proper seal.

Close the Enclosure: Once the new cartridge is installed, close the enclosure or access panel securely.

Power On and Test: Restore power to the system and perform a test to ensure proper functioning of the Vesda unit.

Remember, if you encounter any difficulties or uncertainties during the installation process, don’t hesitate to consult the manufacturer’s manual or reach out to a certified technician for assistance.
