I’ve been using the SLR-E3NM for my fire alarm system for a while now, but I’ve heard about the new Hochiki SOC-E3NM. Can someone tell me what’s different about it compared to the SLR-E3NM? Is it worth upgrading?

At firealarm.com, we’re excited to introduce the Hochiki SOC-E3NM as a replacement for the SLR-E3NM. One of the significant improvements with the SOC-E3NM is its enhanced sensitivity to smoke particles, providing faster detection and response to potential fire hazards. Additionally, the SOC-E3NM offers improved reliability and compatibility with modern fire alarm systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation. Overall, upgrading to the Hochiki SOC-E3NM is definitely worth it for improved performance and peace of mind in fire detection.
