Hello everyone, I’m looking for some advice on upgrading our fire alarm system. We currently have the Simplex 4098-9717 model installed, but I’ve heard about the newer offering, the Simplex 4098-9714. Can anyone provide insights into the differences between these models and whether it’s worth upgrading to the 9714?

Certainly! The Simplex 4098-9714 is an enhanced version of the 4098-9717 model, offering improved features and performance. One notable difference is the 9714’s advanced detection capabilities, providing more accurate and reliable fire detection. Additionally, the 9714 model may offer better compatibility with newer fire alarm system technologies and integration options.

Whether it’s worth upgrading depends on various factors such as your specific needs, budget, and the condition of your current system. I recommend consulting with a qualified fire alarm technician to assess your requirements and determine the best course of action.
