I have a Potter PFC-6800 PCB in my fire alarm system. Can anyone provide some guidance on how to troubleshoot it? It seems to be malfunctioning.

Sure, I’d be happy to help. First, ensure that power to the system is stable and within the required range. Next, check for any visible signs of damage on the PCB, such as burnt components or loose connections. If everything looks fine externally, try resetting the PCB by powering it off for a few minutes and then powering it back on. If the issue persists, it might be necessary to perform a more in-depth diagnostic using a multimeter to check voltage levels and continuity across various points on the PCB. Additionally, consulting the Potter PFC-6800 manual for specific troubleshooting steps could be beneficial. If you’re still unable to resolve the problem, it might be best to contact a certified technician for further assistance.
