Hi all, I recently installed a Wheelock RSS-24MCW-NW strobe light in my indoor space, but I’m having trouble getting it to work properly. I’ve double-checked the wiring and power source, but the strobe doesn’t seem to flash as expected. Any ideas on what might be causing the issue?

    Hello Matthew,

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your Wheelock RSS-24MCW-NW strobe light. Let’s troubleshoot this together.

Firstly, ensure that the strobe is receiving power within the specified voltage range (typically 24VDC). Sometimes, fluctuations in power supply can affect the performance of the strobe.

Secondly, check the compatibility of the strobe with your fire alarm panel. Ensure that it’s properly configured and integrated with the system. Sometimes, issues arise from compatibility mismatches or incorrect programming.

Lastly, inspect the strobe for any physical damage or obstruction that might be hindering its operation. Even a small crack in the lens or dust accumulation can affect the strobe’s effectiveness.

If you’ve gone through these steps and are still experiencing issues, feel free to provide more details, and we can delve deeper into the troubleshooting process.
