Hey, I’ve got a Wheelock ELFHNW in my fire alarm system, and it’s not producing any sound during tests. I’ve checked the connections, and they seem fine. Any thoughts on what might be causing the issue?

Hi Jason , thanks for reaching out. If your Wheelock ELFHNW isn’t sounding during tests, start by confirming that the power supply to the device is stable. Check the voltage and make sure it meets the specified requirements for the ELFHNW.

Also, inspect the device for any visible damage or signs of wear. It’s possible that there’s a fault within the alarm itself. If everything seems in order externally, you may want to check the control panel settings to ensure that it’s sending the proper signals to the ELFHNW.

If the issue persists, it’s advisable to contact Wheelock’s technical support for more targeted assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting steps based on the ELFHNW model. Let us know how it goes or if you need further guidance!
