I’m tasked with replacing our current FCPS-24S8RB power supply with a Notifier PSE-10 in our fire alarm system. Can anyone provide guidance on the compatibility and installation process for this switch?

Absolutely! Replacing the FCPS-24S8RB with the Notifier PSE-10 is a straightforward process. The PSE-10 is designed to be a compatible replacement, offering similar functionality and voltage specifications.

To begin, ensure that power to the system is turned off before starting any replacement work. Once you’ve confirmed this, you can proceed with removing the FCPS-24S8RB from its current location. Make sure to disconnect any wiring and carefully uninstall the unit from the enclosure.

Next, mount the Notifier PSE-10 in the same location where the FCPS-24S8RB was installed. Ensure that the metal enclosure is securely locked to prevent unauthorized access.

Connect the wiring to the appropriate terminals on the PSE-10. Double-check the connections to ensure they are secure and properly tightened.

Once all connections are made, you can restore power to the system and perform any necessary testing to ensure proper functionality.

Overall, the Notifier PSE-10 serves as an excellent replacement for the FCPS-24S8RB, offering reliability and ease of installation. If you encounter any issues during the process, don’t hesitate to reach out for further assistance.
