Sure! Installing the Kidde KI-OSCD is relatively straightforward. First, identify a suitable location for the smoke and carbon monoxide detector. It’s best to install it on the ceiling or high on a wall, as smoke and carbon monoxide rise. Ensure the detector is at least 4 inches away from corners. Once you’ve chosen the location, use the included mounting bracket to secure it in place. Make sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for proper mounting. After mounting, simply twist the detector onto the bracket until it clicks into place. Finally, test the unit to ensure it’s functioning correctly.
