Has anyone had experience installing the Edwards EST SIGA-PCD as a replacement for the SIGA2-PCOS? Any tips or things to watch out for during installation?

Our technician at firealarm.com: Yes, we’ve installed the SIGA-PCD as a replacement for the SIGA2-PCOS in several projects. One thing to note is that the wiring configuration remains the same, so there’s no need to rewire anything. However, make sure to update the device address in the control panel programming to match the new detector. Additionally, ensure proper calibration of the CO sensor during commissioning to guarantee accurate detection. Overall, it’s a straightforward swap, but attention to these details ensures a smooth installation process.
