Hello, I have a 2W-B fire alarm device that needs to be replaced. Can you recommend a suitable replacement? I am looking at the Interlogix 521B model. Will it be compatible?

    Greetings Castaldi ,

It’s important to note that while the Interlogix 521B is a photoelectric smoke detector similar to the 2W-B, compatibility can vary based on specific system requirements and protocols. Before proceeding with the replacement, it’s strongly recommended to consult the product documentation for both the 2W-B and the Interlogix 521B to ensure compatibility with your existing fire alarm system.

Check for details such as voltage requirements, wiring configurations, and communication protocols to make sure the Interlogix 521B is a suitable replacement for the 2W-B in your specific setup. If you have any doubts or need further assistance, reaching out to the manufacturer or a qualified technician would be advisable.
