    I’ve installed a System Sensor B210LP (6″ Flanged Mounting Base) in my fire alarm system, but I’m encountering some issues with it. The device doesn’t seem to be functioning properly. What troubleshooting steps can I take to address this?

    First, ensure that the mounting base is securely connected to the electrical wiring and that there are no loose connections. Check if the device is receiving power by testing the voltage across the terminals. If there’s power, verify that the detector head is properly seated on the mounting base. Sometimes, improper alignment can cause issues. Additionally, inspect the detector head for any visible damage or obstruction. If everything seems fine physically, try resetting the system and reprogramming the device according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If the problem persists, it might be a faulty device, and you may need to replace it.
