Hi everyone, I recently installed a Potter PAD300-HD fire alarm panel, but I’m encountering some troubleshooting issues. The panel doesn’t seem to be communicating with the devices properly. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Hey there! If your Potter PAD300-HD isn’t communicating with the devices, there are a few things you can check. First, ensure that all wiring connections are secure and properly terminated. Sometimes loose connections can disrupt communication. Secondly, verify that the power supply to the panel is stable and within the specified voltage range. Fluctuations in power can also affect device communication. Lastly, make sure the devices themselves are properly addressed and programmed within the panel. Incorrect addressing or programming can lead to communication issues. If you’ve checked all these and still face problems, it might be worthwhile to contact Potter’s technical support for further assistance.
