I recently installed a Fireray One – 6010-300, but I’m experiencing some issues with its functionality. The system doesn’t seem to be detecting smoke properly. What could be the possible reasons behind this, and how can I troubleshoot it?

Hello, thank you for reaching out with your concern. When experiencing issues with smoke detection on the Fireray One – 6010-300, there are a few potential causes to consider:

Alignment: Ensure that the transmitter and receiver units are properly aligned. Misalignment can result in decreased sensitivity or false alarms.

Obstructions: Check for any obstructions in the detection path such as dust, insects, or other debris. These can interfere with the sensor’s performance.

Environmental Factors: Assess the environmental conditions where the system is installed. Extreme temperatures, high humidity, or air currents can affect the sensor’s accuracy.

Power Supply: Verify that the system is receiving adequate power. Low voltage or power fluctuations can impact its functionality.

Sensor Calibration: It’s possible that the sensor may require recalibration. Refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for proper calibration procedures.

Wiring and Connections: Inspect the wiring and connections for any loose or damaged components. Faulty wiring can disrupt the system’s operation.

By systematically checking these potential issues, you can troubleshoot the problem with your Fireray One – 6010-300 and ensure reliable smoke detection. If the issue persists after troubleshooting, consider contacting our technical support team for further assistance.
