I recently installed a Wheelock ELSPKBB-W device in my building, but it doesn’t seem to be functioning properly. I’ve checked the wiring and power source, but it still doesn’t produce any sound. What could be the issue, and how can I troubleshoot it?

First, ensure that the device is receiving power within the specified voltage range. Sometimes, insufficient power can cause the sounder to fail. Secondly, check the wiring connections to ensure they are properly secured and terminated. If everything seems fine with the power and wiring, try performing a reset on the device by power cycling it. If the issue persists, it’s possible there’s a fault with the device itself, and you may need to replace it or contact Wheelock technical support for further assistance.
