    Hey folks! I’ve recently purchased a Potter PAD300-PHD smoke/heat detector. Can someone guide me through the installation process?

    Hello Alexander! Great choice with the Potter PAD300-PHD. Sure thing! First, ensure the power to the area is turned off. Then, mount the base of the detector securely to the ceiling using the provided screws and anchors. Make sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions regarding the appropriate height and spacing. After that, connect the wiring to the terminal blocks on the base, ensuring polarity is correct. Finally, snap the detector onto the base, and you’re good to go! Remember to test the detector after installation to ensure it’s functioning properly.
